Angel Rose Opens Up Dark Moon Studios in Los Angeles

If you follow along with the messy, overdramatic world of tattoo reality television, you may recognize Angel Rose Fergerstrom from Season 11 of “Ink Master.” Her cool, collected demeanor and solid black and grey tattooing got her midway through the show’s competition and propelled her into the public eye.

But since then, Rose has been busy making things happen in Los Angeles. No, she’s not auditioning for another television stint—instead she’s opened up her own shop, Dark Moon Studios, on Crescent Boulevard and brought along two other resident artists for the ride.

Rose picked up the keys to the shop, which is located in the former spot of Royal Heritage Tattoo, back in October of 2018.

The now-open, appointment-only shop does not take walk-ins, but prospective clients can inquire about booking with Rose or one of the shop’s other artists through the website

Joining Rose at the new studio is fellow female tattoo artist Asia Rain, who specializes in traditional and neo traditional color tattoos, and Shain Allen, whose colorful, fantasy-inspired pieces offer a nice contrast to Rose’s dark, rich black and grey work.

In addition, Dark Moon will regularly host guest artists. Jroo Winquist (a.k.a. winniethejroo).
